Embracing Differences, Empowering Voices

At Variantz, we believe that fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is not only essential for our success but is also a moral imperative. This policy outlines our commitment to building a workplace culture that embraces diversity, promotes equity, and ensures inclusiveness at all levels of our organization.

1. Diversity Commitment

Diversity is our strength. At Variantz, we’re committed to cultivating a workforce that reflects the rich tapestry of global communities—whether it’s race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.

We actively recruit talent from underrepresented groups and create spaces where everyone feels welcomed and valued. For example, we host cultural festivals, workshops, and initiatives that honor diverse traditions and perspectives, whether in Singapore (our Global HQ) or other regions where we operate. By embracing diversity in all its forms, we’re not just building a team—we’re building a family.

2. Equity Principles

Equity is about fairness, and at Variantz, fairness isn’t optional—it’s foundational. We’re dedicated to identifying and dismantling systemic barriers that might prevent employees from thriving. This includes providing mentorship programs, sponsorship opportunities, and equitable access to professional development, leadership training, and high-impact projects.

When we say “fairness,” we mean it—and we’re committed to proving it through action.

3. Inclusivity Values

Inclusivity isn’t just a value—it’s how we operate. At Variantz, we foster an environment where every team member feels safe, respected, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. Open communication, active listening, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

We encourage employees to share feedback through surveys, town halls, and focus groups because their voices matter. We also embed inclusivity into decision-making processes at every level, ensuring no one feels left out. After all, innovation thrives when everyone feels they belong.

4. Recruitment and Hiring

When it comes to hiring, we don’t just talk about diversity—we act on it. We use blind recruitment techniques to reduce unconscious bias and partner with organizations that support underrepresented groups in tech and other industries. Our hiring managers are trained in inclusive interviewing practices, and our selection criteria are designed to be fair and objective.

By actively seeking out candidates from diverse backgrounds, we’re building teams that reflect the world we serve. And because we know representation matters, we’re committed to making this process as transparent and equitable as possible.

5. Professional Development and Mentorship

Investing in our employees’ growth is one of the best ways we can show our commitment to DEI. That’s why we offer tailored training programs to promote awareness of diversity issues, unconscious bias, and inclusive leadership. These programs aren’t just for leaders—they’re for everyone.

We also provide scholarships, grants, or sponsorships for employees pursuing certifications or degrees in fields related to DEI. Additionally, we facilitate mentorship and sponsorship programs, particularly for underrepresented groups, to ensure everyone has clear pathways for career advancement.

6. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Support Networks

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and support networks are lifelines for connection and advocacy. At Variantz, we support the formation of ERGs that give employees a platform to connect, share experiences, and advocate for their communities.

These groups receive budgets and resources to drive positive change within the organization. For example, they might host events, lead workshops, or champion initiatives that align with their mission. We also recognize and celebrate their contributions during company-wide events because their work truly matters.

7. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination and Harassment

At Variantz, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or retaliation of any kind. We’re committed to providing a safe and respectful workplace for everyone, and that starts with clear reporting channels. Employees can report incidents anonymously via whistle@variantz.com , and every complaint is investigated promptly, thoroughly, and confidentially.

If violations occur, we take swift corrective action, up to and including termination of employment. Because here’s the truth: respect isn’t negotiable. It’s non-negotiable.

8. Accessibility, Language, and Inclusive Communication

Accessibility and inclusive communication are priorities at Variantz. We conduct accessibility audits of office premises and online tools and provide assistive technologies and accommodations upon request.

We also embrace inclusive language that respects diverse gender identities, expressions, and cultural nuances. Training employees on using preferred names, pronouns, and avoiding jargon ensures clearer, more inclusive communication. Additionally, we offer translation services for critical documents and communications to ensure no one feels excluded.

9. Community Engagement and Cross-Cultural Collaboration

At Variantz, we’re deeply committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Whether it’s through volunteerism, partnerships with local organizations, or supporting cultural festivals and traditions, we aim to make a meaningful impact.

For example, we organize volunteer days for employees to mentor students, clean public spaces, or support vulnerable groups. We also partner with schools, universities, and vocational training centers to provide scholarships and skills workshops tailored to the needs of each region. Celebrating local traditions and fostering cross-cultural collaboration ensures we honor the rich diversity of the regions where we operate.

10. Accountability, Transparency, and Continuous Improvement

Accountability is key to driving meaningful change. At Variantz, we hold ourselves accountable by setting SMART goals for DEI initiatives and sharing progress updates with employees, customers, and stakeholders through quarterly reports.

We also tie executive compensation to DEI performance metrics, ensuring leadership is as invested in these efforts as we are. Conducting annual surveys, forming a DEI task force, and celebrating milestones while learning from challenges ensures continuous improvement. Together, we’re building a better, more inclusive future.

Global Recognition

From Singapore, all the way to the world stage, Variantz is honored to be recognized by both local and diverse international industry associations and standards body.
